Hostel Rules & Code of Conduct
Our guidelines exist to maintain a tranquil, safe, and academically focused environment where every student can study peacefully and thrive.
Strict Zero Tolerance Policy: Smoking, tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, drugs, abusive language, gambling, and any form of ragging/bullying are absolutely forbidden on the premises and result in immediate expulsion without refund.
General Guidelines
- 1The main gate closes at 8:30 PM. Late entry requires prior permission from the warden.
- 2Visitors are allowed only in the reception area, between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
- 3Smoking, alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited on the premises.
Rooms Guidelines
- 1Keep your room clean and tidy. Rooms are inspected every Saturday.
- 2Switch off lights, fans and chargers when leaving the room.
- 3Cooking inside rooms is not allowed.
Fees Guidelines
- 1Monthly fees must be paid by the 10th of each month.
- 2One month's notice is required before leaving the hostel. The security deposit is refunded after clearance.
Study Guidelines
- 1Silence hours are 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Please respect others' study time.
Important Daily Timings
Please note these mandatory daily schedules followed at Himalayan Nest:
8:30 PM
Late arrival requires prior warden notification.
9:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Loud audio and disturbance strictly barred.
9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Parents & guardians meet in reception lounge.
10th of Month
According to the Nepali Bikram Sambat calendar.
